I get two or three of these a week.  They're real people.  Usually, I politely say "thank you, but I'm not interested," and then I block them.

I looked up the address, and it is a valid address in Sedona, but I don't think there's a beach nearby.  If she lives with Grandma and Grandpa, though, I think they're my kind of people!

Damn Google takes no time indexing LJ entries. I clicked on your "I think they're my kind of people" link, and your entry is the second Google result. :-P

Someday, they'll know what we're thinking before we think it! :-)

Yes, 300 Mission Road is the address listed for "Grannies on the Rocks." I'm sure whoever lives at this address has no idea who "lizzybeth22222" or "lizzybeth j john" is.

Of course the perpetrators of these spams are real people - real con artists, to be more specific. Do you really think this is a barely-literate lady looking for a long-term relationship? Next thing you know, you would be wiring money for her to come visit you and for who knows whatever else.

I'm surprised you even acknowledge them with a "thank you, but I'm not interested" response. At least that lets them know that they have reached a person who pays attention to these things, thereby ensuring that you will stay on their lists.

No, I don't know what they are. Nigerians, probably. I've suspected all along it's a scam, but I'm curious to find out for sure.
