As usual, I was worrying about nothing.
Square Dancing was a blast! it's going to be the perfect physical activity to add to my week. The newbies join "classes" that run for 12 weeks and cost $50 (or $60 if you do not pay up front). The fall class starts Wednesday night. After the spring class is done, then you've learned enough to dance the steps and keep up with most square dancers. (Of course, there are advanced levels and competitions and such that require more training -- hardcore square dancing!) There is still time for others to join.
I'm very glad that I went!

I upgraded my computer to
Ubuntu Edgy Eft Beta. I started on Friday. I'm regretting it, somewhat. It did not go smoothly, mainly because I tinker with my Linux installation all the time. The upgrade broke mid-stream and I've been finishing it here and there. Everything works. I am
very impressed with what the Ubuntu and Debian teams have done here. I am going to have to run Microsoft Windows Vista, because inevitably, I'll have to support it. But for someone who doesn't want to shell out $250 for Vista's Professional, Ubuntu is a great alternative and I plan to run it on several systems here at home.
Plan today:
1.
Bowling (more bowlers are needed!)
2. Pick up my Rx at the drugstore
